Bottle - Deluxe Edition - Revised Edition
i'm in the process of moving a bunch of stuff between computers, and as a part of that process i found myself opening this old project and having a rummage around. in doing so i found a number of problems in my old code and a few little QOL things which i thought would be nice to include in an update:
- you can now toggle access to the secret bonus stage by pressing the asterisk [*] key. if you're on the main menu you'll notice that it reloads to show the new UI elements. this command works outside of the main menu but there is no visual indicator.
- access to the secret level (whether gained legitimately or by using the toggle mentioned above) now saves between sessions.
- the moving platforms are now synchronised with everything else so there should be no more jitter when using them.
- the jump input is now sampled during Update instead of FixedUpdate, which should eliminate dropped inputs.
that's all. i should have an update about my main project at some point in November if i'm lucky.
